Dropped $1,400 on a long arm kit for my XJ and my buddy's $200 used leaf springs flexed better
Put a long arm kit on my 99 XJ last spring. $1,400 shipped to my door in Phoenix. Took a weekend to weld on and I was feeling pretty good about it. Then my buddy shows up at the trail with junkyard leaf springs he cut and flipped for $200 and his rig walked right up the same ledge I was spinning on. What setups are you guys running where cheap junk actually beats the fancy parts?
