My AI transcription tool completely mangled a meeting recording last week

Honestly, I tried using an AI transcription service for a 45-minute client call on Wednesday and it came back with total gibberish. It kept mixing up 'budget approval' with 'badget approval' like five times. Has anyone else had a tool just fail that hard on a simple conversation?

You gotta give these tools a break though. They're learning from a huge range of accents and speech patterns, one mess up doesn't mean the whole thing is garbage. Most people I know who complain about transcription errors are mumbling into their laptop or have super bad background noise. Plus you can always just read it over and fix a few words, it's way faster than typing everything from scratch. I've used free ones that got like 90% right on a noisy coffee shop call, so maybe your software or audio setup was the real problem. Stop expecting perfection from something that's basically still in beta for most real world use.
