My local clinic uses an AI that scans retina images for diabetic eye disease. It spots tiny bleeds a human might miss during a quick exam. This stuff is already in the background at a lot of routine checkups, doing silent triage.

Totally, right? My dentist's office has this same kind of thing for reading x-rays. It points out bone loss spots so small the hygienist said she would have just marked my chart as normal.
