That $150 AI call bot that kept losing my customers' orders
I run a small hardware store and got talked into a voice AI for taking custom paint orders last month. Spent $150 on a subscription and it sounded great in the demo, but in real life it kept mishearing color codes and one customer swore it hung up on her twice. I had to refund a whole gallon of custom mix that came out wrong, so that bot cost me more than it saved. Has anyone else tried these phone bots for a small business and found one that actually gets details right without a headache?
