Tried two AI transcription tools for warehouse meetings, the cheaper one won big

We have these weekly safety briefings in the warehouse and I always had to type up notes after. Last month I decided to test Otter and this smaller tool called Whisper-based one, can't remember the name. Ran both on the same 40 minute recording. Otter kept dropping words when people talked over each other, the other one caught everything including the forklift beeping in the background. Cost difference was like $20 a month versus free. Has anyone else found the less popular tools actually work better for noisy environments?

Otter’s still got the name, but the free one handled the noise way better. That forklift beep probably threw off the paid one’s mic settings, not the other way around.
