Just realized my freezer is a compost cheat code after 4 months of banana peels in a jar
I kept a ziplock of scraps in the freezer for 4 months in my Chicago studio and it never once smelled, which honestly annoyed me since I'd put off composting for 2 years thinking it was impossible without a balcony. Does anyone else freeze first, or am I just late to something everybody already knew?
