Hit my 500th service call last month and it threw me for a loop

I've been doing appliance repair for about 8 years now, mostly fridges and washers in the Denver area. Last month I hit my 500th service call and honestly it surprised me how much that number got me thinking. It was a simple dryer fix, just a bad thermal fuse on a Samsung, nothing special. But i counted back through my old log books and realized I've done everything from $15 part swaps to full compressor replacements. What number made you guys stop and think about how far you've come in this trade?

Wait you actually kept old log books from 8 years ago?

Wait you actually kept old log books from 8 years ago?" Yeah, I still have them all. It's not like they're fancy or anything, just a stack of spiral notebooks I stash in a milk crate in my garage. It's actually pretty handy when a customer says "remember that part you replaced back in 2016" and I can flip back and confirm what they had.
