My old professor said we'd never find anything at the site near Cahokia, and after 3 weeks of digging in 2019 we pulled up a copper headdress piece
He retired the next spring and I still wonder if he was just trying to keep us from getting our hopes up, has anyone else had a mentor call a dig wrong like that?
