Spent 3 days cleaning a Roman coin, it was just a button

Found this corroded disc in a field near Bath and got so hyped it was a denarius. Scrubbed it with olive oil, then citric acid, then electrolysis for 3 straight evenings. Turned out to be a 1960s coat button from some farmer's jacket. Has anyone else gotten fooled by modern junk pretending to be ancient?
