Hot take: the Hooksett rest area on I-93 is not where you want to stop with a moving truck
Drove down to help my brother move out of Concord last Saturday and we pulled into the Hooksett rest area around 11am to grab food and let the truck cool off. The lot was packed with out of state plates and we got boxed in for almost 20 minutes because two cars were just sitting in the truck lanes waiting for someone inside. I watched three other rigs give up and squeeze out the back way onto the service road. If you are moving here or just passing through with anything bigger than a pickup, skip it and hit the gas stations off Exit 10 instead, way more room to turn around. Also the bathrooms were clean, so it is not a knock on the place itself, just the parking layout. Anyone got a better halfway stop between Concord and the Mass line for a big trailer?
