Warning: the 'no snow tires needed' guy at the Concord Walmart parking lot almost got me
Last February I overheard a guy in the Concord Walmart lot telling a new neighbor he didn't need snow tires, just 'drive careful' on the all seasons, and that same week I watched a Subaru slide backward down a hill on Pleasant Street. We get 60+ inches here in a bad winter and the plows don't hit side streets till you're already late for work. What's your real cutoff for putting them on, Columbus Day or first real storm?
