My own blog comments convinced me to stop being a grammar cop

I used to correct every typo and comma splice in the comments on my own posts. Last month, someone called me out politely with: "Hey, your passive voice is kinda heavy in this section too." They were right. I read my old stuff and saw how stiff and boring it sounded. So now I just let the bad grammar slide unless it actually changes the meaning. Has anyone else loosened up on editing after getting similar feedback?

That passive voice thing hit me too, now I only fix stuff if it makes no sense.
