Switched to a mechanical keyboard after years of membrane and I get the hype now
I always thought mechanical keyboards were just overpriced clicky toys for gamers until I borrowed my friend's Ducky One for a week of coding. The different switches actually feel WAY better for typing than my old Logitech, like each keypress has a clear stop point. Anyone else made the switch and noticed a big difference in your daily setup?

That "dull pencil versus a sharp one" comparison hits hard, did the tactile bump actually improve your typing speed or just the feel?

Did you always think they were just a gamer thing too? I used to roll my eyes at friends who swore by them, figured it was all hype. Then I tried a Cherry MX Brown board at a meetup and realized how much cleaner my typing felt with that tactile bump. It's like the difference between scribbling with a dull pencil versus a sharp one.
