Set up at Pawnee National Grassland for the Perseids and my mount decided to just stop tracking
I was out there around 1am with 20 second exposures when the RA motor quit and every star came out as a little trail, so I switched to a 14mm wide lens on a tripod and stacked 40 frames in Sequator to grab the meteor trails instead. Anyone else had a mount die mid-shower and did you bother getting it fixed or just go wide?
