Found out a single bent pin on a 429 plug can ground a whole GPS install, and I learned it the hard way
Was reading through an old maintenance log from a shop in Wichita and saw a note about a GPS that kept dropping signal. Turns out one bent pin on a 429 connector was the whole problem, took the guy 3 days to find it. I checked my own harness yesterday and found the same thing starting on a plug I installed 6 months ago. How often do you guys actually pull and inspect pins during a routine check, or do you just wiggle the connector and move on?
