The water source markings on the JMT are way off, hit a dry stretch near Reds Meadow

Got back from a 5 day section hike last weekend and I gotta flag this. The map I printed at home showed a reliable stream about 3 miles past Reds Meadow. I skipped filling up at the store because I figured I'd grab water there. That spot was bone dry. Had to push another 4 miles with maybe half a liter left. Not fun. I met two other groups who had the same problem. Either the markings need updating or someone moved the creek. Anyone else run into this on the JMT this season? What maps or apps have you found that get the water sources right?

Yeah, but has anyone actually looked at what the snowpack did to that drainage this year, all that melt probably carved a new channel downhill and left the old marked spot high and dry, so the maps aren't wrong, they're just describing a creek that moved.
