Built my raised garden bed with pressure treated wood, then read the label a month later
I put together a 4x8 bed back in April using pressure treated lumber from the big box store because it was cheap and I figured rot resistance was a good thing. A neighbor walked by while I was watering and asked what I planned to grow in it, then mentioned the chemicals in that wood can leach into the soil. I looked it up that night and felt pretty dumb, since I had already planted tomatoes and peppers in there. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should rip it all out and rebuild with cedar, or just line the inside and hope for the best. Has anyone here dealt with this and did lining it actually work, or did you just start over?
