My neighbor's porch light killed my whole view, so I counted stars before and after
Three years ago I could count about 40 stars from my driveway in Tucson, and now I'm lucky to hit 15 thanks to a new LED light two houses down that stays on all night. Last week I finally knocked on his door and we worked out a deal where he kills it after 10pm, and the difference was obvious the same night. Turns out he had no idea it was messing with anyone, he just liked the look of it. Anyone else had luck just asking a neighbor to flip the switch, or did you end up buying a shield for your own setup?
