I thought my oven was broken for 2 years, turns out I was reading the dial wrong
For 2 years I thought my oven ran 25 degrees hot because everything came out dry and my cookies always burned on the bottom. Last week a repair guy named Sal came out for something else and pointed at the knob, the little line I was lining up with 350 was actually the 375 mark. I felt so dumb standing there in my own kitchen but my banana bread came out perfect on the first try after he left. Has anyone else mixed up the marks on an old dial like this?
