Heads up: the clipper disinfection shortcut I took last month in Dayton cost me two clients
Last month in Dayton I got behind on a busy Saturday and started wiping my clippers down with just a spray instead of fully taking the blade off to clean underneath. Three days later a regular called saying he broke out in bumps on the back of his neck and he was pretty mad about it. I lost him and his two sons, that was $75 every two weeks gone just like that. I called my old barber school instructor Marcus and he said the hair and oil that builds up under the blade is exactly where stuff hangs around, spraying the top does nothing for it. Now I take the blade off after each cut and soak it, it adds maybe 40 seconds per client. Any of you got a fast routine for this that does not slow down a packed Saturday?
