Bought a $3 busted blender at a Goodwill in Akron, decided to fix it over buying a new one
I mean, the motor spun but the blade assembly was stripped, and a new one was $40 at Target. Took the base apart, found a cracked plastic coupler, and swapped it with a $6 part from a hardware store down the street. Six months later it still runs fine, but has anyone else tried repairing thrift store small appliances or do you just toss them?
