Guy at the Roseville flea market said he never pays more than $2 for a coffee mug, so I tried it for a month
I was digging through a $1 box at the Roseville flea market last Saturday and this older guy next to me said he has not paid over $2 for a mug in 12 years. He told me to skip the booths up front and hit the tables in the back corner where vendors are packing up around 2pm. I tried it for 4 weekends and got a Le Creuset stoneware mug and two old diner mugs for $5 total. The trick is asking if they will do a bundle price on 3 or more, most say yes without even thinking. What is your cutoff price for stuff like this, do you have a hard number or just go by feel?
