Working the local crit race in Austin, saw a guy finish with a loose headset he didn't even notice.
He said it felt 'a little vague' in the corners for the last 10 laps. Made me start checking headset preload during every post-ride safety check now. Anyone else add a specific check after seeing something fail in the wild?

Checking stuff after every ride seems like overkill lol. Most gear holds up fine if you just give it a normal look now and then.
