Just realized 'Down to Earth' got me thinking about food waste
I binged the whole series on Netflix over two days. It travels to spots with smart ways to use resources. The part about local farms showed how much good food gets tossed. Now I check my fridge before buying more groceries.

I started planning meals for the week after a similar show. Writing a list based on what I already have helps avoid extra purchases. Now I turn aging veggies into soups or stir-fries. My vegetable drawer isn't a graveyard anymore, which is a small win.

Try cooking a 'clear the fridge' meal once a week.

My buddy found a science project in his crisper drawer last month. He ended up making a huge pot of chili with all the weird leftover stuff. Said it was actually one of the best meals he'd had in a while.
