Shoutout to the Netflix subtitle guy who told me a show was 8 episodes when my app showed 12
I was about to start a show on my tablet and the description said 8 episodes, but my app listed 12, so I checked the show's page on a fan wiki and found out the last 4 were added two years after the first season aired. Turns out plenty of shows get extra episodes tacked on later, and some streaming apps mix them into season 1 like they were always there. I was confused for like 20 minutes until I found a Reddit thread from 2021 explaining the same thing. Anyone else run into a show where the episode count does not match what the app says?
