Rant: I was shuffling my deck sideways for 2 years and nobody told me

Was at open game night at the shop in Beaverton and a guy cringed when I riffled the deck against the table. He showed me I'd been splitting the cards along the long edge, which bends them, and half my Catan deck is bowed now with a visible curve you can see from across the table. Anyone got a fix for warped cards or do I just live with a deck that looks like a taco?
