Shut down a recovery boiler job in Tacoma early and the shift boss bought the whole crew lunch
We were retubing a recovery boiler at a mill outside Tacoma and the job went smoother than any I have been on, finished the tube rolling 2 days ahead of schedule with zero leaks on the hydro. The shift boss was so happy he took all 9 of us to a diner and picked up the tab, said it was the first clean hydro he had seen on that unit in 4 tries. What is the best thing a boss has ever done for your crew after a job went right?
