The Tuesday our tube bender finally lined up on the first try
Spent 2 hours fighting a stubborn tube run on a boiler in Baton Rouge and got nowhere. Then Wednesday morning I swapped to a different die and the whole bend came out clean on the first try, no kinks, no rework. Felt like a win after a rough start to the week. What is your go-to trick when a bend just won't cooperate?
Man, two hours on one bend and then it just works the next morning? That would drive me up the wall. The fact that it was just the die the whole time is wild, like the tool was messing with you on purpose. I always forget how much a bad die can throw everything off until I'm already deep in the fight. Glad it came out clean for you though, that first try bend hits different after a rough Monday and Tuesday.
