Why does nobody warn you that a $35 smart mug can die in 11 days
Bought the Ember-style mug from a mall kiosk in Charlotte for $35 as a gift to myself, and by day 11 it just blinked twice and quit. The app kept saying "connected" while the mug sat there cold as a rock, so I microwaved my coffee like a caveman and felt like a clown. Took it back to the kiosk and the guy shrugged and said the warranty was 10 days, which is a wild number to pick. Now I have a $35 paperweight with a charging coaster and zero coffee heating powers. Anyone got a cheapo option that actually survives past two weeks?
