Hand-cut or sawn? My brick arch gamble in Austin

I had to pick between cutting every brick by hand for a curved arch or renting a wet saw for the day, and I went with the wet saw because my wrist has been bugging me for weeks. The saw made clean cuts fast, but the dust and water mess slowed me down on the scaffold, and I second-guessed my joint spacing twice. Anyone else tried both ways on a small residential job, which one kept the lines tighter for you?
