The 6 foot wall in Danbury that made me rethink my whole footing game
Spent last Tuesday redoing a 6 foot garden wall in Danbury where the original footing was only 8 inches deep and it had heaved 2 inches out of plumb. Digging it out I realized I'd been rushing footings on small jobs for 15 years and blaming the frost. Any of you got a depth rule you swear by for garden walls in cold ground?
