Hot take: my sister's "just use one notebook for everything" tip ruined 4 months of my bujo
My sister has been bullet journaling for about 6 years and when I started mine back in January she swore up and down that having separate notebooks for work, habits, and personal stuff was a waste of money. So I crammed all three into one Leuchtturm and by April it was a total mess, work meetings bleeding into my grocery lists and my habit tracker buried under 40 pages of project notes. I kept losing track of my weekly spreads because every time I flipped to the index I had added something new in a different section. Last week I finally split it into two notebooks, one for work and one for everything else, and I can find my monthly log in like 3 seconds now instead of digging for 5 minutes. I get why people love the one notebook thing but it did not work for me at all. Has anyone else tried both ways and stuck with separate books, or am I just bad at sections?
