Warning: quit rinsing your grind plates in hot water, you're killing the temper
I watched a guy at the shop in Reno dunk his plate in a sink of hot soapy water last week and I had to say something. Heat past about 140 pulls the hardness out of the steel and the holes go soft way faster, so use cool water and a stiff brush instead. Any of you got a soak routine that actually keeps the plates cutting clean?
