Guy at the Portland swap meet said my old filing cabinet was worth nothing, then watched 3 people ask for it
I put a beat up two drawer metal filing cabinet on the free table at our neighborhood swap last Saturday here in Portland. This older guy walked by and told me nobody wants heavy metal junk anymore and I should just haul it to the dump. I almost loaded it back in my truck, but a college kid grabbed it in about 10 minutes for his art stuff. Then two more people asked if I had any others because they were fixing up a garage shop. I ended up giving away a broken lamp and a box of mismatched Tupperware too, all in under an hour. Has anyone else had someone talk them out of giving something away, only to watch it go fast?
