Rant: wasted $45 on a storage unit for stuff nobody even wants on here

Kept a 5x5 unit in Rochester for 3 months paying $15 a month to hold a broken treadmill and two old TVs that I kept meaning to list. Finally hauled it all to the curb last Saturday and the treadmill went in 20 minutes, so I basically paid $45 to delay a free giveaway. Has anyone else paid to store stuff they were just gonna give away anyway?
