Pulled a face frame off a 12 year old maple cabinet in Boise and the color underneath floored me
Client wanted the boxes refaced and when I popped the face frame off, the maple under the overhang was pale as fresh cut and the exposed stuff was dark orange. Turns out 12 years of UV through their south facing kitchen window did that, not the finish. How are you all pricing for that kind of sun damage when you know the new doors won't match the old boxes after a couple years?
