Can we talk about the DMV placard renewal that took me 3 trips to Sacramento?
I went to the DMV office on Broadway in Sacramento last month to renew my disabled parking placard and it turned into a 3 trip mess. First visit they told me I needed a new form signed by my doctor dated within 30 days, even though mine was only 6 weeks old. Second trip the system was down so they couldn't process anything and sent me home after waiting 2 hours. Third trip I finally got it done but they only gave me a temporary paper placard and said the real one comes in the mail in 4 to 6 weeks. My old placard expired 2 weeks ago so now I'm stuck using the paper one that keeps falling off my dashboard. Has anyone else dealt with the DMV making placard renewals this hard, or did I just get unlucky at this location?
