Regional center wait times are worse than I thought, but the appeal process surprised me
I waited 14 months for my initial assessment through the San Diego regional center and figured appeals were pointless. A disability advocate told me to request an independent review anyway, so I did. Turns out they approved my revised service plan just 6 weeks after the hearing request, no lawyer needed. Has anyone else gotten quicker results once they pushed back formally?
