Took me 5 weeks to get a disabled placard and my DMV form got rejected twice for the dumbest reason
My doctor signed off on the placard application in early June, but the Sacramento DMV office mailed it back twice because the form was printed in blue ink instead of black, something nobody at the counter warned me about. Five weeks and two trips to the office later I finally got the thing, and the clerk just shrugged and said "happens all the time." Did anyone else get tripped up by some tiny rule on the placard paperwork that cost you weeks?
The "nobody at the counter warned me" part is fair game, but honestly the blue ink rule is printed right on the form in bold caps, so that one's kind of on you. Still lame that the clerk just shrugged instead of telling you to reprint it black the first time.
