Shoutout to the old timer who told me to stop cleaning focus rings with alcohol
Watched three guys at the bench in Concord wreck printed scales and rubber grips because they soak them in 91 percent, but a dry brush and a bit of dish soap on a rag has kept my Nikkor rings turning smooth for two years now. What's your go to for gummy focus grease without pulling the whole helicoid apart?
