A recruiter's one line killed my whole approach at a job fair in Austin
I spent 40 minutes polishing my elevator pitch for that big career expo last Friday, but when I tried it on a recruiter from a logistics firm she just said 'so what can you actually do for us today?' and I realized my whole resume was about tasks, not results, so now I rewrite everything with numbers first, has anyone else had to flip their whole pitch after one blunt question?

At least you only wasted 40 minutes. I wasted a whole career.
