He said it while I was packing up after a job last Tuesday, and it stuck with me because I'd been going top down for years. Did it his way on a sooty ranch house off Route 20 and pulled almost a full bucket of creosote crumbs off that shelf before I even touched the flue. Anyone else flip their order around like this, or am I late to something basic?
