Am I the only one who thinks copying code from a tutorial is fine for beginners?
I sat in a free intro class in Toledo six weeks ago and the teacher told the room to never copy code you do not fully understand, but I think typing out working examples and tweaking them one line at a time taught me more in a weekend than two weeks of reading docs, so what actually helped you get past the blank editor?
