TIL a guy in line at Micro Center said to retype code by hand instead of copying it, and it worked
I was standing in the return line at the Micro Center in Sharonville, Ohio waiting forever to swap a bad keyboard, and the guy behind me saw my Python book and started chatting. He said he teaches night classes at a community college nearby and makes his students retype every example by hand, one time, no copy paste. I figured that was a waste of time but tried it on a loop exercise I kept messing up, took me about 25 minutes, and the thing finally clicked because I had to actually read each line. Still stuck on nested loops though, is there a trick you all use when you keep losing track of which one is running?
