My automated pour-over setup decided to baptize my kitchen counter

So I got this new pour-over machine that's supposed to be hands-off. The cleaning cycle involves rinsing the filter and heating element. Yesterday, it started beeping like crazy and sprayed water everywhere. I had a puddle forming under my cabinets. The worst part? It kept repeating the cycle three times while I was on a call. Now my kitchen smells like wet electronics and regret. I guess sometimes simple is better, like just washing things by hand.

Man, that's brutal. Unplug it and let everything dry out for a couple days before you even try turning it back on.
