Vent: my neighbor's leaf blower at 7 AM broke my whole morning flow

I mean, the guy started at like 6:58 yesterday, which I get, people have yards. But my dog went nuts, then I spilled coffee trying to calm him down, and my laptop slid off the couch because I was distracted. Took me three hours to get back to my work emails, and I still missed a deadline by like 20 minutes. Has anyone else dealt with this sort of noise schedule thing, or am I just overreacting?
