Can we talk about the guy at the gas station in Reno who called my '68 Mustang a 'nice Camaro'
Last Saturday I pulled into a Chevron off Virginia Street in Reno to fill up my '68 Mustang and this older guy in a Silverado walks over and says 'nice Camaro.' I just kind of laughed and corrected him, and he goes 'well they all look the same to me' and shrugs. That stuck with me for 3 days because it made me realize most people don't see the badges or the grille shape, they just see a red old car and move on. Honestly it took some pressure off about whether my paint is perfect or my hubcaps match. Anyone else get weirdly zen about their project after a random stranger says something dumb?
