I finally caught why so many 'restored' cars fail a magnet test at the Auburn show
A guy next to me in Auburn last fall ran a magnet over a 'rust free' fender and it barely stuck, because filler over rust hides for a bit and then bubbles out within 18 months. Ask sellers to bring a magnet before you drive out to look, or has anyone had luck spotting body filler another way?
