Finally finished my 22 year run of Uncanny X-Men at a flea market in Toledo
I picked up issue 266 yesterday at a booth near the Scout building and that closed out every issue from 141 through 544. It took me about 8 months of hunting, mostly at shops around Detroit and one lucky score at a garage sale in Ypsilanti. My copy is beat up and the cover has a crease, but I don't care, it's mine now. Anybody else chase a specific run like this, and did you go for condition or just completion?

That's how it goes with any collection I swear, the hunt becomes the whole point and then once you finish you kinda miss it. Same thing happened to me when I finally got all the old Nintendo carts I wanted, took years and I still peek at flea markets out of habit. Condition matters less than just having the thing in your hands, a crease just means somebody actually read it.
