Hot take: a 20-minute bell run in 38-degree water last Tuesday made me rethink my whole winter gear setup
Last Tuesday we were doing a pipeline inspection in the Detroit River and my hands went numb about 20 minutes in even though I had my usual 7mm gloves on. Turns out the issue was my wrist seals letting water flush through the whole glove, and switching to dry gloves with a ring system after that day changed everything. Any of you run dry gloves in cold water or do you just deal with it and swap out gloves mid-dive?
